January: At the first of the year we rescued “Savannah” a Savannah Monitor lizard. She was extremely overweight and was found cramped in a fish tank at a local pet store. With diet and exercise we gradually planned on getting her back into shape. ***Other events included our appearances in Seattle and Reno.

February: My dreams came true when I finally acquired a male Brazilian Rainbow Boa named “Bentley.” Check out those colors!!!

March: I enjoyed a visit to Six Flags Marine World in California.

April: For the first time in “LIVE with The Reptile Guy” history we welcomed a LIVE studio audience.

May: I packed my bags and left my animals back at the reserve for a well-needed vacation in Miami!

June: I paid a visit to the critically acclaimed Oregon Zoo for a blog feature. Other stops included a visit to my favorite place in the WHOLE entire world: the Oregon Coast.

July: We lost a loved member of our Animal Ambassador Team. “Spike” the Bearded Dragon died of old age.

August: The animals and I were on the road the majority of this month making appearances in Salt Lake City, Denver, and St. Louis. ***Other events included my trip to Vancouver, BC.

September: We welcomed farm animals into the Fox News Studios including an Adult Racing Horse named “Butters!”

October: We rescued a baby Alligator who was bought off the internet as an anniversary present. “Chompers” will one day grow up to be over 13 feet long!

November: The animals and I hit the road again to finish up our 2009 National Tour in New York. We also made appearances on the PIX Morning Show as well as CBSNEWS.com.

December: Prancer the reindeer paid a visit to the NBC Studios in Boise. The Christmas Special also included animals that needed a home for Christmas.
