Goodbye San Francisco

Time sure does fly when you are having fun! We are now headed back home to Meridian, Idaho. What an amazing trip! From seeing the city of San Francisco itself to having the opportunity of meeting many amazing animals, this trip had it all! I can't wait to visit again in the future. Like the old saying goes, "All Good Things Must Come to an End"...

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom!

It is amazing how fast plans can change! We were planning to head to Monterey Bay Aquarium this afternoon but decided to go somewhere closer to San Fran! That's why we visited Six Flags Discovery Kingdom! This amazing park is full of amazing shows, animals, and exhibits...not to mention crazy roller coasters! Here I am with "Dock" the California Sea Lion during one of their live shows at Seal Lion Stadium. I absolutely love marine mammals!

A great way to end the day...

I think I was about to blow away during this shot! Take a look at how amazing the Golden Gate Bridge is with the city behind it. It is absolutely incredible in person. I never would have thought that I would be so fortunate to visit this place. What a great way to end the day. Tomorrow we visit the aquarium!

Mrs. Doubtfire house!

I know it's not at all related to animals but I had to show you this pic! I am nearly on the steps of the famous house that was seen by millions in "Mrs. Doubtfire" with Robin Williams. I could not believe it. I have to admit I was completely star struck. The house is a lot smaller than it looks like in the movie. Wow...I am such a tourist!

Sea Lions in the city!

Down near Fisherman's Wharf a colony of California Sea Lions gathered on nearby docks and rock islands. They sure know how to draw a crowd! These inquisitive creatures are easy to distinguish from seals because they have ears and are extremely vocal. You can hear their famous "bark" all the way down Fisherman's Wharf!
