Time sure does fly when you are having fun! We are now headed back home to Meridian, Idaho. What an amazing trip! From seeing the city of San Francisco itself to having the opportunity of meeting many amazing animals, this trip had it all! I can't wait to visit again in the future. Like the old saying goes, "All Good Things Must Come to an End"...
"Jocko" from "50 First Dates!"
This is the one and only "Jocko" the walrus from the movie "50 First Dates" with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore! What a stud. This good looking male was interacting with us through the glass by making clicking sounds and clapping his flippers. He was found abandoned as a baby and has been living at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for 14 years.
Dolphin with a football!
It's all about enrichment! This Bottlenose Dolphin was playing with a football his trainers gave him for play time. I thought it was so funny that he was keeping it from the other dolphins in the pool. What's next? The super bowel?
Six Flags man himself!
Again...I know it's not animal related but I had to post a pic of me with the old man from the Six Flags commercials. What a happy little guy! We saw him all throughout the day dancing with the park guests.
"Billy" and "Lisa"
My new best friends at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.."Billy" and "Lisa" two American Alligators. They were both soaking up the sun and enjoying the California weather. After speaking with a keeper I found out that they are kept outdoors year-round. I bet they can't wait for summer.
